Are graham crackers vegan?
Not always. Many graham cracker brands use honey in manufacturing their products. The problem with that is honey is not considered vegan. While some vegans do choose to eat honey, many more adhere to not consuming anything that comes from animals (or insects). The Vegan Society provides an informative statement on their website about why they believe honey is not vegan. Personally, I only buy vegan graham crackers that do not contain honey or animal products.
